SCO Public Diplomacy Forum kicks off in Tashkent

The SCO actively promotes the development of intercultural dialogue, the construction of “bridges” between peoples with different cultures and traditions. The mechanism of cooperation in culture, education, tourism, youth and gender policy, such events as the SCO International Marathon, the Eight Wonders of the SCO exhibition, effectively serve to reveal and popularize the historical and cultural values of the two countries.

The International Forum “Dialogue of Declarations” is part of the systematic and consistent efforts of the Republic of Uzbekistan to put into practice the principles and provisions enshrined in the Special Resolution of the UN General Assembly “Enlightenment and Religious Tolerance”, adopted in 2018 at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as serves to achieve goals of the National Human Rights Strategy of Uzbekistan, approved in 2020 by the President of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan is going through such a big transformation today. The psychic and spiritual strength of our people, honed in the trials of history, passes to life actions. New Uzbekistan is a socially-orientated state

It is expected that the adoption of the updated document will take place during the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
