The President of Uzbekistan receives the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China

According to the press service of the Head of our state, current issues of further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China and expansion of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries were discussed.

The parties exchanged views on the prospects for deepening regional interaction, including the agenda of the upcoming Samarkand Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

On July 6 this year, the initialing ceremony of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the European Union took place in Brussels. The event was attended Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov – from the Uzbek side and Head of the Cabinet of the EU High Representative Pedro Serrano – from the European side.
